Pastor Jim Nason and his wife Pat are natives of Linneus, Maine. Graduating from Ricker Classical Institute in Houlton, Pastor Nason’s plans were dramatically changed in July 3, 1960 when he was saved through faith in the finished work of Christ. Not long after that, God called him to the ministry and the preparation began with his enrollment at Bob Jones University. His degrees include the Bachelor of Arts in Bible and the Master of Ministry.
Following graduation in 1965, Pastor and Pat moved to Charlotte, Maine to begin pastoring at Charlotte Baptist Church. Their ministry has continued through the years with pastorates in North Carolina, Michigan, and now New Hampshire. Coming back home to New England had been a desire through all the years, and God blessed to allow them to come to New Durham in August, 1982.
Their four sons came with them, and God has wonderfully led in their lives as well. Joel, Hope, and their children live in Laconia, N.H. where he was a church planter and now Pastor at Heritage Church. Jeff assists the ministry here in New Durham Church, serving on the Advisory Committee, graphics design, and our sound system ministry. Jon, Janelle, and children live in Plymouth, Massachusetts where he is Pastor at Manomet Bible Church. Jeremy, Ruth, and children are in Decatur, Alabama where he serves as Pastor of Faith Baptist Church.
Pastor and Pat are grateful for the blessings God has given them through the years and count it an honor to preach His Word in New Durham.
